what landscapers do in the winter

Yes kids its that time of year again and we're faced with the age old question of...what am i going to do with my time? Personally, this landscape chick just kind of going into hibernation, but i was wondering what other people do out there in the real world.

I'm going to cut pulp off the property to keep me busy. Hoping to get about 50 cord or so. I'll be plowing when it snows.

We keep right on with the turf construction & maintenance, we just travel much farther south to do it. Laughing out loud.

We also do a LOT of snow removal, and now firewood as well.

I'm also debating a few other things, greenhouses, etc.

Best of luck.

Sitting around watching TV and getting fat is for people who don't have 60+ people (plus their families) depending on them for their paycheque at the end of every week....

Best of luck.

I always forget that there are other people out there who have to support others and make sure others are capable of supporting others. Me on the otherhand...me myself and I. Spaghettios work just fine for me. And my box that i live in...not too shabby.

I usually chill out for 3 weeks... after that I have a list of things that has built up from the year. We clear brush, Some small tree work, Plow snow, service & /or fix landscape equipment that has broken during the season that we didnt have time to deal with in the busy days, Organize the shop & try to do as much snowmobiling in as possible.
